A student newspaper for an institution

The Otto-Suhr-Institut, one of the biggest German institutes for Political Science, has always been busy with the world of politics but also deals a lot with itself. Students and staff discuss with passion the many internal processes from professoral appointments to the sometimes controversial details of the curriculum. That’s why it is one of the few institutes at Freie Universität Berlin that has its own magazine, the OSI-Zeitung. Organized by students, the magazine has been around in various incarnations since the 1990s to offer a free and indepent source of information for students and staff alike. I was part of the editing team from 2009 until 2011. I contributed articles to the magazine and was in charge of the print layout. I also created a website for the OSI-Zeitung in 2010.
